Standard Recycled Sacks

All our of standard black sacks are made of 100% recycled materials. The problem with this type of sack is that the molecular structure of polythene is very strong & will take up to 100 years to completely bio-degrade

De-gradeable Polythene Sacks

During the manufacture of any refuse sack it is possible to add an additive which helps to breaks down the molecules of the polythene into 1000s of very small pieces. These pieces then get digested by micro organisms so that within a year they completely biodegrade.

Potato Starch Organic Sacks

The most environmentally friendly type of sack are those made from completely organic materials - usually potato starch. You can recognise these by their silky feel & usually cream or sometimes green colour.
